Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, the Creators of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series, has revealed information about the release date for GTA 6. The Verge announced during its quarterly earnings call that the next installment in the GTA game series, the much anticipated is to be released in the fall of 2025.
“Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for the Grand Theft Auto VI. We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase,” the company said, as reported by The Verge.
Rockstar Games released the trailer for GTA 6 in December last year but has not revealed any more details about the highly anticipated game since but, it has confirmed that the video game will be released initially on gaming consoles such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series. There is still no confirmation about the availability of it on PCs. During the earnings call, the company reported that the previous installment of the Grand Theft Auto series, GTA 5, released in 2013, has sold over 200 million units to date. This achievement makes it the second best-selling video game in history, surpassed only by Microsoft’s Minecraft.
