‘Speak Marathi Or No Payment’: Mumbai Couple Harasses And Discriminates Domino’s Agent | WATCH

A Domino’s delivery agent in Mumbai’s Bhandup area was allegedly harassed by a couple for not speaking Marathi. The shocking incident occurred on Monday and came to light after a video recorded by the agent himself went viral on social media.

The delivery agent, identified as Rohit Levre, had arrived at the couple’s residence to deliver a pizza. However, the couple, speaking from behind a locked grill door, refused to accept the order or make payment when they discovered that Levre couldn’t speak the local language.

“Pay Only If You Speak Marathi,” Customer Insists

In the video, the woman is heard saying, “We’ll take the order and pay only if you speak in Marathi.” Rohit calmly responded, “If I don’t know Marathi, why force me to speak it?” To this, the woman replied firmly, “This is how it is here.”

The disagreement escalated as Rohit stood his ground and questioned their unreasonable demand: “If that was your condition, you shouldn’t have placed the order. If you don’t want to pay, fine.” He also asked the couple to show if there was any issue with the pizza: “If there’s a problem with the order, show it.”

The woman eventually raised objection to being recorded, saying, “You’re not allowed to film me, but I can record you.” Rohit firmly responded, questioning the bias and double standards. The video ends with the couple refusing to pay for the order, forcing the delivery agent to leave empty-handed.

No Response Yet from Domino’s or Police

At the time of reporting, Domino’s has not released an official statement regarding the incident. Similarly, Mumbai Police have not issued any comment or initiated action against the couple featured in the viral video.
