Following what most thought was an earthquake rocking Los Angeles, social media users looked to another cause, a sonic boom generated by the return of the SpaceX Dragon capsule. Numerous videos of the capsule racing across the sky have since appeared online.
One user explained it, posting, “Correction: probably not an earthquake in Los Angeles but a sonic boom from this SpaceX Dragon capsule re-entering.” Another verified, “It was a sonic boom. SpaceX Dragon returning to earth.”
