A disturbing video of a high-speed SUV dragging a scooter for nearly 11 kilometers after a collision has gone viral on social media. The incident, which occurred on Sunday near Lulu Mall in Lucknow, shows the SUV emitting sparks as it continued to move despite the crash.
Victims Thrown Off, Vehicle Gets Stuck
The driver of the SUV has been identified as Brajesh Singh, an engineer from Varanasi. The accident took place when Hazratganj resident Manish Singh, a private sector employee, was riding his scooter with his sister, Tanu, toward Telibagh. Upon impact, both siblings were flung into the air but fortunately suffered only minor injuries. However, their scooter got lodged under the SUV’s wheels and was dragged for a long distance.

Police Chase and Arrest
Eyewitnesses reported that several other vehicles on the road narrowly escaped being hit by the out-of-control SUV. Despite multiple attempts by the police to stop him, Brajesh continued driving at high speed. The chase finally ended in Transport Nagar, where Sarojini Nagar police had set up barricades to intercept the vehicle.
Additional Inspector Balram Singh confirmed that a case has been registered based on Manish Singh’s complaint, and the accused has been sent to jail. Reports indicate that Brajesh Singh, who works in Ghaziabad, was on his way to work at the time of the incident.
