The chariot, which was being pulled by oxen, JCBs, villagers, and tractors, suddenly lost balance and overturned. The massive crowd participating in the ritual was seen running for safety as the towering structure fell to the ground. The tragic event occurred when the chariots from Doddanagamangala and Rayasandra villages reached the fair.
