Just a day after India launched Operation Sindoor in retaliation for the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, satellite imagery from an American firm has surfaced, showing widespread destruction at key terror infrastructures in Pakistan.
The high-resolution images were captured by Maxar Technologies, a Colorado-based satellite company. The photos reveal extensive structural damage at two major terror hubs: the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) stronghold in Bahawalpur and the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) facility in Muridke, both in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
Precision Strikes Following April 22 Pahalgam Massacre
The Indian Armed Forces carried out coordinated missile strikes on nine terror launchpads across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday. The operation was a direct retaliation to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of 26 Indian tourists.

Among the targeted locations was Markaz Subhan Allah, the operational headquarters of JeM in Bahawalpur, functioning since 2015. The compound not only serves as a training and indoctrination hub but also houses top JeM leaders, including Maulana Masood Azhar, Mufti Abdul Rauf Asghar, and Maulana Ammar. The site is deeply linked with several terror plots, including the Pulwama suicide bombing in 2019.

LeT’s Muridke Campus Also Destroyed
Another significant strike targeted Markaz Taiba in Muridke, LeT’s most critical training centre established in 2000. Located in Nangal Sahdan, this facility is notorious for recruiting and radicalising youth for jihad, enrolling up to 1,000 students annually across various extremist courses.
The Muridke base holds historical infamy as well. Osama Bin Laden reportedly financed Rs 10 million for constructing a mosque and guest house within the complex. Moreover, it played a central role in orchestrating the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Intelligence records confirm that Ajmal Kasab and other attackers received ‘Daura-e-Ribbaf’ (intelligence training) here, allegedly under the guidance of Pakistan’s ISI.
Investigators also link the facility to David Headley and Tahawwur Rana, both conspirators of 26/11. They had visited the Muridke campus alongside Abdul Rehman Sayed alias Pasha, Haroon, and Khurram, all acting under the command of Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, a senior LeT leader.
With Operation Sindoor, India has sent a firm message—its tolerance for cross-border terror has hit zero.
