In a heartwarming incident straight out of a Bollywood film, a groom in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district turned a hospital ward into a wedding venue to marry his ailing bride. The video of the emotional ceremony is now going viral across social media platforms.

The couple, Aditya Singh and Nandini Solanki, had planned to get married on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya. But just days before their big day, Nandini fell ill. Initially, she received treatment at a local hospital in Kumbhraj village. As her condition worsened, she was shifted to Binaganj, 25 km away, and then referred to a hospital in Biaora, approximately 50 km from her hometown.

Doctors noted her health was improving but advised complete bed rest, ruling out any possibility of a conventional wedding. With the next favourable muhurta two years away, both families decided to go ahead with the wedding inside the hospital.

The hospital administration supported the idea, allowing the OPD area to be decorated for the special occasion. Aditya arrived with his wedding party, but the traditional music and celebration were toned down to respect the other patients.

The wedding began at 1 am, under the supervision of doctors and nurses. In a touching moment that won over social media, Aditya carried Nandini in his arms as they circled the sacred fire for the saat phere, while their families showered them with flower petals.

Netizens flooded the video with emotional reactions. One user commented, “Love turns every impossible into possible.” Another wrote, “VIVAH movie in the real world.”

This act of devotion has struck a chord with many, turning a hospital corridor into a symbol of unwavering love and commitment.
