Ranveer Allahbadia Deletes ‘Pakistani Brothers’ Post After Backlash

YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, alias BeerBiceps, removed an Instagram post to Pakistani ‘brothers and sisters’ after receiving humongous outrage. In it, he apologised if Indian viewers believed him to be instilling hate and highlighted the disparity between common Pakistani people and the military and spy agency (ISI) of Pakistan. He cited evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in terrorism such as the Pahalgam terrorist attack and condemned Indian as well as Pakistani media for faking news.

While he admitted to any potential hate in India, Allahbadia also stated that he didn’t hate Pakistanis and wanted peace. His post contained such assertions as: “All terrorists apprehended in recent years are from Pakistan. Pakistan military commanders had attended a funeral for Hafiz Abdur Rauf, brother of the chief of Jaish-E-Mohammed, and Pakistan’s defense minister admitted to terrorism sponsored by the state.” He ended by saying, “This is not: Indian People vs Pakistani People. This is: India vs Pakistani Military & ISI.”

The post went viral, with critics attacking Allahbadia for being sympathetic to Pakistan and insulting India’s military. One X user said, “His childish and insensitive attitude is not acceptable,” while another described it as ‘shameful; for being pro-Pakistan. Screenshots of the post are still going around despite the backlash.
