It’s not an easy job to be a police officer, it requires long hours, night shifts, and tremendous commitment. But in the midst of their busy schedules, one officer was able to steal the show with her energetic moves and dance steps. Sub-inspector Teena Sogarwal of Rajasthan recently gave a spirited performance on the song Jai Jai Shiv Shankar at the Rajasthan Police Foundation Day celebration.
The incident occurred at the police district office in Sawai Madhopur, where Sogarwal, in her colorful traditional outfit, danced vigorously to the hit Rajesh Khanna tune. The moment was captured in a video, which went viral on social media, depicting her having the time of her life on stage.
Her energetic performance was greeted by claps and cheers from the crowd, comprising among others, dignitaries like Superintendent of Police Mamta Gupta and District Collector Shubham Chaudhary and her fellow officers.

The sub-inspector eventually posted the video on Facebook, and it spread rapidly on other media platforms. Social media was filled with comments complimenting her talent. One commented, “Excellent performance. Multi-talented personality,” while another added, “Jai Ho, very beautiful dance, madam; you are the pride of the police department.”
On X (formerly Twitter), one of the users retweeting the video said, “Along with her duties, Teena Sogarwal, who remains in the spotlight for her dancing talent, danced to the song ‘Jai-Jai Shivshankar’ on Rajasthan Police Foundation Day, which is worth watching.”
Interestingly, this is not the first time Sogarwal has demonstrated her dancing abilities. Her social media is full of videos of her dancing to hit Hindi songs. During Holi, she was dancing to Khaike Paan Banaras Wala, covered in bright colors and accompanied by others in the celebration.
