A shocking incident of physical violence between two female staff members at a government-run Eklavya School in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, has surfaced online. The clash, which took place between the school’s principal and librarian, was caught on camera and widely circulated on social media by Saturday afternoon.
The video shows both women, Principal Praveen Dahiya and Librarian Madhurani slapping, pushing, and pulling each other’s hair during a heated altercation within the school premises. Reports suggest that the principal also broke the librarian’s mobile phone during the scuffle. The fight reportedly broke out on Friday morning over a work-related disagreement but only came to public attention after the video went viral a day later.

Following the incident, authorities took swift action. Both women were relieved from their current roles and temporarily assigned to the office of Assistant Commissioner Prashant Arya. “Preliminary findings suggest the dispute was work-related. However, an in-depth investigation is ongoing into the matter. Strict action will be taken based on the report submitted to higher authorities in Delhi,” Arya said.
As the Eklavya school operates under a central government scheme, a report on the matter has been forwarded to the authorities in Delhi. District Collector Bhavya Mittal has also ordered a formal inquiry by the Tribal Welfare Department to determine accountability and recommend further action.
