When cryptocurrency was first introduced, it faced skepticism from many quarters. However, over time, people grew more accepting and began engaging with it actively. This shift includes a Bengaluru auto-rickshaw driver who announced he would accept cryptocurrency as payment for his rides. A photo of the driver and his notice was shared on social media and quickly went viral.

“Bro is transforming faster than most literate Indians,” commented X user Garima Sharma, alongside the picture showing the driver with a note reading, “We accept cryptocurrency.”

One person wrote, “He must be attending those web3 hackathons in parallel, I bet.”

Another user, Aryan Agarwal, remarked, “Where most people don’t have crypto accounts, he is accepting crypto.”
