Newborn Girl Adorned as ‘Mata Raani’ for Vijayadashmi Right After Birth | Watch

With a beautiful thought, a newborn baby girl, delivered on Vijayadashmi, was dressed as Maa Ambe by a lady doctor.

The video shows the doctor holding the infant, who is wrapped in a beautiful red outfit and adorned with a crown, symbolizing the goddess Durga. The tribute was in honor of the baby’s birth on the sacred day of Vijayadashmi. Resting calmly in the doctor’s arms, the newborn’s divine appearance captured hearts and admiration online.

Shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Vineeta Singh, the adorable video has gone viral, accumulating over 600k views, 4k shares, and 29k likes. However, the exact time and location of the incident remain undisclosed.

The video has sparked varied reactions on social media. While many found the gesture heartwarming, others questioned the appropriateness of dressing an infant so soon after birth. Responses ranged from delight to concern, with one user stating, “Cutest thing I saw today!” and another adding, “The best thing I’ve seen on the internet today.” However, some expressed discomfort, commenting, “Isn’t it torture for the newborn? She’s too small for this attire and makeup. These reels are just for adults to feel good,” showing concern for the child’s well-being.

Vijayadashmi, also known as Dussehra, celebrates the victory of good over evil, symbolized by Lord Rama’s defeat of Ravan. It is traditionally marked by the burning of Ravan’s effigies. Vijayadashmi concludes the five-day Durga Puja and the nine-day Navratri festival.
