Mexican Woman Claims Freedom to Dress in India, Social Media Divided | WATCH

Jaqueline Morales Cruz, a Mexican expat living in Nagpur, regularly shares updates about her life in India. In a recent video, she expressed her happiness about calling India her home and addressed common misconceptions regarding safety in the country.

“I am happy to call India my home,” she said in her post, which showed her speaking at an event. She emphasized how comfortable she feels wearing both Indian and Western attire without experiencing any discomfort.

However, not all reactions were positive. While some viewers appreciated her portrayal of India as a safe place for foreigners, others disagreed. “That’s why there are so many incidents of abuse,” one Instagram user commented, while another posted, “It is not safe, ma’am.” A third follower questioned, “Is it really so?”

The video has gained over 30,000 views and nearly 1,400 likes. Jaqueline’s Instagram, featuring her daily life and travels across India, has garnered over 100,000 followers and more than 1,000 posts.
