‘Mera Dharm Bhrasht Ho Gaya’: Temple Worker’s Egg Roll Instead Of Egg Roll In Navratri | WATCH

In a surprising turn of events, a temple servant from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, found himself at the center of a controversy after receiving an egg roll instead of the paneer roll he had ordered online. The incident has sparked outrage and raised concerns about food safety and religious sensitivities.

The Mix-Up

Nitesh Buddhi Raja, a servant at the Siddhpeeth Baba Augharnath Temple, placed an order for a paneer roll through the food delivery app Swiggy. However, to his dismay, he received an egg roll instead. After consuming the roll, he only discovered it contained egg when a child pointed it out to him. Shocked and distressed, Buddhi Raja claimed that his faith had been compromised due to this major oversight.

Claims of Conspiracy

In a viral video recounting his ordeal, Buddhi Raja expressed his anger and disappointment. He stated, “I ordered a paneer roll from Baap Of Rolls, but instead, they delivered an egg roll. I have never consumed egg or non-vegetarian food in my entire life. This incident is part of a larger conspiracy aimed at corrupting the religious sentiments of the Hindu community.”

Buddhi Raja demanded strict action against the restaurant responsible for the mix-up and revealed that he possesses a sample of the food for further investigation.

Legal Action and Investigations

Following the incident, a complaint was filed, prompting police to arrive at the scene. Initial investigations revealed that the restaurant was operating without a food license and lacked GST registration. Despite this, the restaurant staff denied any wrongdoing, insisting that it was not a mistake on their part.

The investigation further uncovered that the delivery boy, who hails from Jharkhand, belongs to a specific community, which has added another layer of controversy to the situation.

Timing of the Incident

Adding to the sensitivity of the matter, the incident occurred just a day before Navratri, a time when many Hindus refrain from consuming non-vegetarian food. This timing has heightened emotions and calls for accountability in the community.

As the investigation continues, Buddhi Raja and his supporters are calling for measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future, emphasizing the need for respect towards dietary restrictions rooted in religious beliefs.
