Man’s hair-raising encounter with Henry, terrifies internet : Watch

A stunning video featuring Robert Alleva, co-host of Kings of Pain, getting remarkably close to a giant Nile crocodile has taken the internet by storm. Shared on Alleva’s Instagram, the video has already garnered an incredible four million views.

A Close Encounter with Nature’s Giant

Filmed at the Crocworld Conservation Centre in South Africa, the video shows a thrilling moment as Alleva interacts with a massive Nile crocodile named Henry. According to Alleva’s caption, Henry is believed to be the oldest living crocodile, born in 1900. At 124 years old, Henry’s enormous size and historic value have earned him legendary status in the reptile world.

Reflecting on his experience, Alleva wrote, “Ever since I saw @backshall.steve with Henry, I’ve wanted to meet this Nile croc. Well… be careful what you wish for!! I was as intimidated as I was fascinated!!” He also expressed gratitude to the Crocworld Conservation Centre for the opportunity to meet Henry, describing the encounter as “breathtaking” and encouraging his followers to visit the centre.

Social Media Reactions to the Viral Clip

The video has ignited a debate online. While some praised Alleva’s courage, others voiced concerns about getting too close to such a dangerous animal.

One commenter, Daniel Taylor, wrote, “This is incredible! I can’t believe how close he got to that beast. Truly mind-blowing!” Another user, Jennifer Russell Arvizu, added, “Oldest croc in captivity. Who knows what’s out there.” Steve Borkmann also chimed in, saying, “124 years old? That’s amazing! What a privilege to see something like this.”

Many viewers praised Alleva’s ability to bring wildlife into people’s homes. One commenter noted, “This is why I love following Robert Alleva—always bringing the wild to our screens!” Others expressed interest in visiting the centre, with one user writing, “I have to add Crocworld to my bucket list now!” Jacob Adrian summed up the sentiment with, “Hands down, this is one of the coolest videos I’ve ever seen.”
