Police in Andhra Pradesh’s YSR Kadapa district have apprehended a man in connection with the alleged rape and murder of a three-year-old girl. The horrifying incident reportedly occurred in a village while the victim’s parents were attending a relative’s wedding.
Tragic Abduction at Wedding
According to initial reports, the young girl was playing unsupervised outside the wedding venue when the accused, identified as Rahamatulla, approached her. He allegedly lured the child away from the gathering by offering her a banana. Rahamatulla then reportedly led her to a secluded, deserted area.
Gruesome Discovery
In the isolated location, Rahamatulla allegedly raped and killed the three-year-old. Meanwhile, the victim’s parents, realizing their daughter was missing, frantically searched for her. Their desperate search concluded with the tragic discovery of her lifeless body in a nearby bush.
Villagers Apprehend Suspect
Upon finding the child’s body, distraught villagers quickly identified Rahamatulla as a suspect. They apprehended him and subsequently handed him over to the local police. Authorities have taken Rahamatulla into custody and are actively investigating the heinous crime
