In a shocking act of violence, a 34-year-old man in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal district brutally murdered his elder brother with an iron rod on a busy street, while bystanders stood by and watched. The chilling incident took place in Pimpalgaon and has been captured on camera, quickly going viral on social media.
The deceased, identified as 35-year-old Pramod Pendore, was attacked in broad daylight by his younger brother, Kavishwar, allegedly due to a long-standing family dispute. The disturbing video shows Kavishwar mercilessly beating Pramod with an iron rod on a road filled with vehicles and pedestrians. Despite several onlookers witnessing the assault, no one intervened to stop the attack.

According to police, Pramod had an inter-caste love marriage in 2017 and had since been living away from his family in a rented accommodation. The attack took place while he was returning from a visit to his parents.
Yavatmal police have arrested the accused and are investigating the motive behind the murder. A senior police official confirmed the arrest and stated, “We have taken the accused into custody and are looking into the family dynamics that led to this horrific act.”
The video of the incident has sparked outrage online, with many expressing concern over the public’s indifference during the violent act.
