A dramatic scene unfolded in Noida’s Sector 20 on Saturday as heavy rainfall and powerful winds wreaked havoc across the city. A viral video captured the tense moment when an iron signboard became dangerously entangled in a high-tension wire, dangling mid-air and posing a serious threat to public safety.
As onlookers gathered and recorded the incident on their mobile phones, an employee of the electricity board climbed up and attempted to remove the hanging board. In the viral clip, the man can be seen bravely kicking and yanking the iron frame with his hands until he successfully dislodged it from the wire.

Social media erupted in praise for the courageous act, with many users hailing the worker as a “Superman” for risking his life in the middle of a violent storm. The electricity department also earned appreciation for their prompt response amid the dangerous weather.

Meanwhile, in nearby Sector 27, a traffic light pole collapsed under the force of the strong winds and rainfall, leading to disruption in traffic. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the incident. Elsewhere in the city, trees were uprooted and electric poles were brought down by the storm.
Authorities from the Noida Development Authority and traffic department quickly reached the affected areas to help clear the roads and restore normalcy.
