A man was caught on camera urinating from a moving SUV along Old Railway Road in the Sadar Bazaar Gurugram, region late on Wednesday evening. A case of indecency and rash driving has been filed with the police.

Peeing on the Road Viral Video

According to the police, the video was shot at 11.30pm. The man sitting beside the driver is seen in the video opening the door, unzipping his trousers, and peeing on the road.

The black Mahindra Thar was racing towards Shiv Murti. Police added that there were a few other passengers who were also thought to be in the car during the incident.

The entire incident was captured by the occupants of another vehicle that followed the SUV. The video quickly went viral on social media, and police took suo motu cognizance of the case.

Police Trying to Confirm the Registration Number of the Car

We are cross-checking the information of the video and trying to confirm the registration number of the SUV. said a police spokesperson. A case has been registered at the New Colony police station under section 281 and section 296 of the BNS. 

Alcohol involvement is also being investigated, the spokesperson added. Police said the car was being driven at high speed through a congested area lined with shops and residential buildings.

Investigations believe that the group could have been coming from a party this year, although this has yet to be confirmed.

Locals and shopkeepers as a shameful act

Locals and shopkeepers condemned the incident, terming it shameful and disturbing. This is not just an act of indecency but also a complete disregard for the public safety. said a shopkeeper in the area.

The authorities should take such strict action to send a clear message that such behavior won't be tolerated. Police added that they are employing CCTV camera footage from local shops and traffic cameras to monitor the vehicles' movement as early as possible and identify the accused.
