A tourist at Rajasthan’s Ranthambore National Park recently captured a “rare and magical” moment—a sloth bear near an ancient temple. Mukesh Bharadwaj, who recorded the scene, shared the video, which was later posted on the Ranthambore National Park Instagram account.
Reflecting on his “incredible evening” in Ranthambore last week, Bharadwaj recounted his fortune in spotting the bear during a safari. In the video, the bear is seen attempting to open the temple’s iron gate.
The caption accompanying the video read, “An incredible evening in Zone 10 of Ranthambore! During today’s safari, I was lucky enough to witness a rare and magical moment—a Sloth Bear visiting an ancient temple. The sight of this elusive creature in such a serene setting was unforgettable. Nature never ceases to amaze.”
