KP Gold: Boyfriend's Favorite Gutka

The clip was shared by the small business, which specializes in crafting creative bouquets on request. In one case, the woman ordered the arrangement using packets of the popular "KP Gold" gutka brand, saying her boyfriend was very fond of the product.

In the video, a creative employee is seen making the bouquet, carefully attaching individual gutka packets onto sticks, then bundling the sticks together into a flower-like display that effectively turns a dangerous substance into a shocking token of love.

The bouquet-maker in her narration confirmed the motivation of the customer: Their demand was that they wanted a KP Gold bouquet because their boyfriend really likes KP Gold; that's why we have made this bouquet.

Bouquet of Death

The viral nature of the video polarized the internet in an instant. On one side, viewers responded with dark humor and shock. The arrangement was sarcastically dubbed the "bouquet of death," and one commenter, referencing the deadly reality of gutka consumption, said, "Love is cancerous." Another user made a sarcastic reference to a familiar brand campaign: "Karlo Mohalla Kesari."

On the other hand, there was also a flood of criticism against the businessman for conceptualizing and promoting a gift item that glamorizes a product that induces oral cancer, among other serious diseases.

Some of the critics were just disappointed, with some users indeed questioning the sanity of the idea, "Are they crazy?" and others giving them advice on how to keep ethical standards.
