LinkedIn Post Goes Viral: ‘Google, You Better Give A Diwali Bonus To The Person Who…’

Uddhav Parab, a freelancer who writes from his abode in Thane, appealed to Google, Microsoft owned LinkedIn platform, on giving Diwali bonus for the creator of Google Map “Take Flyover”. Freelance writer shared an screenshot which demonstrates this feature through which landmarks and point of interest are shown 3D. He loved that feature and was appealing before Google to reward a Diwali bonus for creating that feature.

As at now, the post is still going viral since it amasses over 20 000 likes with the feature bringing out appreciation of being on immersive navigation from the platform.
The writer said, “Google, you better give a Diwali bonus to the person who added the ‘Take Flyover’ pop-up on Google Maps.”

This post appealed to many people in this Linked-in site since many admired it by saying it is true and that it is due to the ‘Take Flyover’ that made one’s Google Map navigation life become more wonderful. Commenting on the feature, a businessman Saurabh Khandelwal said, “I have not seen this feature in Google maps. I recently covered about 1000 km. But it’s a very good feature. They should also give information regarding toll plazas at highways and the amount that they charge while traveling. So, that can be planned better for fastag recharges, so that issues of blacklisting and cash double payments will not happen.”

Must I say, it was only one person, but in my view, it looks like a good team in total. It was also the result of years’ feed backs or demands from user as well as the client side. Engineer Faique Jatu said, “If I am using a flyover taking another color coded path is better, it is my opinion.”
