Hasan Ali Supports PSL Growth
The incident comes on the heels of recent remarks by Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali, who had shown optimism regarding the PSL drawing more viewership. “Fans watch the tournament where there’s good cricket with entertainment. If we play well in the PSL, viewers will leave the IPL to watch us,” he had stated prior to the beginning of the season.
Sam Billings Weighs In
English cricketer Sam Billings, who has played in the PSL up to now and in the IPL previously, shared his views in a media meeting. “You want me to say something absurd? It is hard to look past the IPL as the greatest competition in the world; it’s as apparent as apparent, everything else lags behind,” he said. He also said, “In England (The Hundred and T20 Blast), we are trying to follow what PSL is doing, as the second best competition in the world.”
