Internet Outraged By Couple’s ‘Hack’ To Eat For Free At Gurugram Restaurants

A shocking revelation about a middle-aged couple from Gurugram exploiting a deceitful tactic to obtain free meals at upscale restaurants has left internet users in disbelief. The story was shared by an X user named Udit Bhandari and has quickly sparked widespread outrage.

Bhandari recounted his encounter with the couple at a friend’s house party in Gurugram, where they brazenly disclosed their unethical practice. The couple narrated how they carry a dead fly with them to posh restaurants in Delhi and Gurugram. Midway through their meal, they discreetly place the fly into their food and then create a scene, demanding compensation for the alleged unsanitary conditions. Restaurant management, keen to avoid negative publicity and appease upset customers, often waives the bill or offers the meal for free.

What is particularly disturbing is that the couple engages in this deceitful behavior “for fun,” as they do not appear to be financially constrained. “They were proud to share this ‘hack’ for getting free meals and said they have done this many times,” Bhandari wrote, expressing his disbelief and disgust at their actions.

The internet community reacted swiftly, condemning the couple’s dishonest behavior and expressing their outrage. The story has ignited a conversation about the lengths to which some individuals will go to exploit systems and take advantage of establishments.
