Indian YouTuber Forcibly Boarded Lady’s Scooter In China: Watch

In a series of YouTube videos documenting her trip to China, Indian travel vlogger Jyoti Malhotra has sparked outrage and condemnation for her controversial behavior, leading to widespread criticism across social media platforms.

WATCH VIDEO:

Malhotra’s videos captured various incidents where she made unconventional decisions, such as insisting a man switch seats on a bullet train, climbing onto a stranger’s scooter demanding a ride, and even taking another woman’s bike to travel on a motorway. She was also seen traveling on buses without paying and expressing frustration that few locals spoke English.

The compilation of her actions, shared widely on social media platform X, has amassed over 1.6 million views, drawing sharp rebuke from viewers. Many criticized Malhotra for her condescending attitude towards Chinese people in china, mocking their height and the affordability of their mobile phones. Her continued use of Hindi and English, which locals couldn’t understand, added to the controversy.

On both X and YouTube, commenters expressed dismay, with one remarking, “She should be banned from traveling to other countries. What is this nonsense behavior and filming everyone without consent?” Another commenter highlighted the disrespect shown towards a Chinese man who reluctantly gave up his seat on the train.

The incident has also triggered reflections on the broader impact of such behavior on India’s global image. “Such people are a disgrace to the whole Indian community,” lamented a user on X. “When you’re abroad, you represent the whole country. Please behave yourself,” advised another.

In response to mounting criticism, Jyoti Malhotra issued an apology on her YouTube channel, attributing the misunderstanding to language barriers and pledging to improve her conduct. “I didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s sentiments, and I will take care in the future,” she wrote. “I’m committed to improving our communication in future videos.”
