In response to a surge in aggression from Pakistan, Indian forces have carried out powerful retaliatory strikes, targeting and destroying several Pakistani military posts and a terror launchpad, according to official sources.
The destroyed launchpad, as per the sources, had been actively used by Pakistan to deploy tube-launched drones aimed at Indian military positions. These strikes followed a large-scale drone offensive launched by Islamabad, targeting 26 key locations ranging from Leh in the north to Sir Creek in the south.

The situation remains tense, with Pakistan continuing overnight shelling across the Line of Control. In Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara, authorities enforced a complete blackout as a security measure.
Tragically, the ongoing shelling claimed the life of a senior government official in Rajouri. A shell struck his residence, leading to his death. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah confirmed the fatality, stating, “He died after a shell hit his house.”
The Indian armed forces remain on high alert, and strategic measures are being taken to neutralize further threats across the border.
