IFS Officer Shares 6 Life Lessons Post Lok Sabha Election 2024 Results

General elections took place in India from April 19 to June 1, 2024, with the counting concluding on June 4. Following the voting process, many individuals expressed their reactions to the elections and the outcomes on social media platform X, including IFS officer Himanshu Tyagi. Tyagi shared his insights from the Lok Sabha 2024 election results in a thread on X.

“BJP wins around 240: still considered losing. Congress wins around 100: still considered winning. 6 life lessons from this election. Thread,” Tyagi wrote. He then elaborated on points such as “Never take yourself for granted” and “Fail. Learn from your failure. Keep trying. Never give up,” discussing them in the context of the election results. He also referenced the performance of each party that participated in the elections to illustrate these lessons further.


Since its posting, Tyagi’s thread has garnered over 11,000 views and nearly 400 likes. It has also prompted various comments from readers.

The Lok Sabha 2024 elections, a significant event, were conducted in seven phases across India. The country’s dedicated election officials counted an impressive 640 million votes to determine the results of the world’s largest election. Although the Lok Sabha comprises 543 members, the counting was for 542 seats, as BJP’s candidate for Surat, Mukesh Dalal, was elected unopposed.
