An unusual scene unfolded in Raebareli’s Usraina village on Monday when a young man, reportedly upset with his girlfriend, climbed a 40-foot-high transmission line. The act triggered panic and drew a massive crowd from the village, all gathered to witness the dramatic standoff.
The man, identified as Ankit Singh, had reportedly come to the village to visit his aunt. At some point during the visit, he got into a dispute with his girlfriend, details of which remain unclear. In an emotionally charged reaction, he decided to scale a tall power structure, risking his life.
