Hania Amir’s Instagram Disabled In India: Which Other Stars Social Media Is Not Accessible

Pakistani actress Hania Amir’s Instagram account has suddenly become inaccessible to users in India, leaving fans confused and disappointed. Those trying to visit her profile are now met with a “User Not Found” message, sparking speculation across social media. The disappearance comes amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack.

Other Famous Pakistani Celebrities Accounts Blocked:

Along with Hania Amir, the Instagram accounts of other popular Pakistani celebrities like Bilal Abbas and Sanam Saeed have also been disabled in India. Indian users trying to access their profiles are now seeing a “User Not Found” error. The sudden restriction appears to be part of broader digital and diplomatic measures taken by India after the Pahalgam terror attack. Fans across the country have expressed confusion and disappointment over the move.

India cuts ties after Pahalgam attack, restricts access across platforms

In the wake of the attack, India has taken a series of sweeping diplomatic and strategic actions. The government suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, 1960, closed the Integrated Check Post (ICP) at Attari, and imposed strict travel restrictions on Pakistani nationals. The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), in a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, directed all security agencies to remain on high alert.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, addressing the media, confirmed: “Pakistani nationals will not be permitted to travel to India under the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme (SVES). Any previously issued SVES visas are hereby cancelled.”

He added that any Pakistani national currently in India on such a visa has 48 hours to exit the country. Additionally, India declared the Defence, Naval, and Air Advisors at the Pakistani High Commission in Delhi as persona non grata. They, along with five support staff, must leave within a week. In return, India is withdrawing its military advisors from Islamabad, officially annulling those posts.

Concert moments with Diljit Dosanjh resurface as Hania faces Instagram blackout

Hania Amir, who is popular in India for her charming screen presence and online persona, recently made headlines for her appearance at singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh’s London concert on October 4. She was seen joining him on stage during a performance of his hit track Lover. Rapper Badshah also joined in during the concert.

Diljit introduced Hania as a “superstar” and later thanked her on stage, saying, “Thank you Hania Aamir for attending my show. It means a lot.”

Videos from the concert went viral, strengthening her fan base in India, which now finds itself locked out of her content.

Still no official word from Instagram or Hania Amir

Neither Instagram nor Hania Amir has commented on the account’s sudden inaccessibility in India. While no confirmation links the restriction directly to current geopolitical tensions, the timing has led to widespread speculation.

For now, Indian fans remain cut off from one of Pakistan’s most followed celebrities — a digital disconnect that mirrors the growing diplomatic freeze between the two nations.
