In a poignant and surprising turn of events at a hospital in Rajgarh district, Madhya Pradesh, a groom wed his sickly bride, who could not walk. The heartwarming sight was recorded on camera, gaining popularity instantly across social media platforms.
Aditya Singh and Nandini Solanki had scheduled their wedding for the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. Sadly, Nandini became gravely ill just a week before the wedding and was hospitalized in Biaora. She had initially been admitted to a local hospital in her hometown, Kumbharaj, but because her condition rapidly deteriorated, she was later shifted to Binaganj and then Biaora, 50 km further away. Though her health soon recovered, the doctors insisted on strict bed rest, which ruled her out of attending the wedding.

A Hospital Wedding
Since the next favorable time for the wedding was two years from now, the families decided to go ahead with the ceremony within the hospital itself. The hospital administration graciously agreed to the event. Aditya came along with his baarat, albeit minus the customary band baaja in order not to disturb any other patients.
Surrounded by doctors, nurses, and family members, the wedding ceremonies were initiated. At the time for the holy “saat phere,” Aditya carefully carried Nandini in his arms. When the couple promised each other with vows, friends and relatives showered them with flower petals.
