Tragedy Strikes: Car Rams Into Fans, Injures 47

Celebrations were abruptly overshadowed by a horrific accident as a car ran over dozens of fans during the parade. Reports indicate 47 people were injured, including four children. A child was reportedly trapped beneath the vehicle, according to The New York Times. Police have arrested a 53-year-old man in connection with the crash. A paramedic on a motorbike was also struck but avoided serious injury.

The statement read: “We are in direct contact with Merseyside Police regarding the incident on Water Street which happened towards the end of the trophy parade earlier this evening.
