‘Drum Mein Raja’ Turns Dark Real Quick: Bhojpuri Song Uses Blue Drums Used In Meereut Muder | WATCH
The Meerut murder case has taken an unexpected and chilling turn with the viral spread of a Bhojpuri song titled “Drum Mei Raja”. The track has left the internet both shocked and outraged due to its uncanny resemblance to the brutal killing of Saurabh Rajput — allegedly murdered by his wife, Muskan Rastogi, and her lover, Sahil Shukla.

What has stunned viewers isn’t just the lyrics — which suggest a man being stuffed into a drum by a woman — but the music video’s visuals. In an eerie coincidence, background dancers are seen using blue drums throughout the performance, even stepping into them with their mouths and hands bound. These visuals disturbingly echo the exact method used in the Meerut case, where the victim’s remains were reportedly stuffed in a blue drum filled with cement.

“Bhojpuri singers don’t even spare murder cases!” read the caption of one widely circulated video. Reactions poured in across social media platforms. One user commented, “That’s how they normalise these gruesome things.” Another called for immediate legal action against the song’s creators, saying, “These people are promoting a horrible crime that can disrupt peace in society.”

One shocked viewer remarked, “Strange to think that once Bihar was a place where people from all over the world came to learn about civilization. It seems the sense of civilization has long gone in many people there.”

As the backlash grows, it remains to be seen whether the song will face legal scrutiny for seemingly mocking a brutal murder.

Meanwhile, a fresh development in the case has emerged. Authorities have confirmed that Muskan Rastogi, one of the accused, is pregnant. An ultrasound has been scheduled to verify her condition. The horrific crime took place on the night of March 4, when Muskan and Sahil allegedly killed Saurabh, severed his head and hands, and concealed his remains in a cement-filled drum. Both accused remain in judicial custody as the investigation unfolds.
