Doctor’s Prescription Error: ‘City Scan’ For Brain, Internets Calls Him ‘Munnabhai MBBS’

A prescription note has gone viral on social media, drawing parallels with the famous Bollywood character Munnabhai from Munnabhai MBBS, who became symbolic of impostor doctors. The note, allegedly written by a medical practitioner, has triggered both amusement and concern over the doctor’s qualifications.

The Error That Made the Internet Laugh

Mukesh Kapoor, a Facebook user, shared the photo of the prescription dated August 8, 2018. It was issued to a patient named Nabila Begum. What caught users’ attention was the glaring spelling error. Instead of requesting a ‘CT Scan of Brain’, the doctor mistakenly wrote ‘City Scan’.

This blooper left the internet in splits, with one user jokingly asking, “Which city needs to be scanned?” Another pointed out, “The handwriting is too neat to be a doctor’s.” A few users speculated whether the doctor had taken online courses or bought the degree. One comment read, “Looks like he studied medicine on YouTube.”

Netizens Call Out the ‘Munnabhai’ Moment

Several commenters connected the incident to Munnabhai, the fictional doctor known for his emotional therapy methods like “Jadoo Ki Jhappi”, saying even he wouldn’t make such a mistake. Though it hasn’t been confirmed that the prescription is authentic or not, some believe the post could have been staged for attention.

A Lighter Moment, But A Deeper Concern

While the mistake entertained thousands earning over 27,000 likes it also raised concerns about the competence of certain medical practitioners. The mix of humor and suspicion continues to fuel online debate, as the photo circulates across platforms.
