Delhi Metro: Man Trying To Defuse Fight At Station Gets Beaten Up | Watch

Imagine stepping in to calm a heated dispute between two strangers, only to find yourself facing unexpected consequences. This scenario unfolded recently at a Delhi Metro station, where an elderly bystander tried to mediate a brawl between two men at a ticket counter. Instead of defusing the tension, he became an unintended target of one man’s aggression, leading to an unexpected twist that has since amused internet users.

The video, shared on ‘X’ by the account ‘Ghar Ke Kalesh’, begins with a tense scene at a Delhi Metro station. Two men are engaged in a heated fistfight near the ticket counter, exchanging slaps, shoves, and punches. Amidst the chaos, a bystander from another queue steps in to try and calm the situation. However, one of the fighters dragged him into the brawl, landing an unexpected slap from behind.

Although the exact cause of the altercation is unclear, the video quickly went viral, garnering over a million views and numerous comments. Social media users were quick to respond, with many sympathizing with the elderly man and calling for justice, while others injected humor into the situation.

Some jokingly made connections to the famous ‘Mujhe Kyu Toda’ scene from the movie ‘Welcome’, likening it to the hapless uncle’s intervention.

“Blue shirt uncle is the reason why people don’t intervene in fights to calm them down. Uncle proved it in just one video why we shouldn’t intervene,” quipped one commenter, adding a laughing emoji. Another remarked, “The fight was taking place only between two uncles. Why was the poor third uncle beaten?”

A third commenter said, “Delhi metro never disappoints,” while a fourth added, “Yeh blue shirt bale uncle ko 4 jhapar vapas dena chahiye tha,” among other humorous remarks that continued to pour in.

As the discussion continued, the video sparked broader reflections on human behavior and intervention in public conflicts. Just recently, another video surfaced showing an elderly man taking justice into his own hands on the metro by confronting a thief caught red-handed trying to snatch a purse. With bystanders filming the drama, the elderly man administered a swift and resounding punishment, slapping, hitting, and even kicking the thief.

Despite the thief’s tearful apologies and desperate pleas, the determined passenger remained unmoved, delivering justice with unrelenting fervor. In a touching moment, the thief knelt and grasped the elderly man’s feet, promising, “Uncle, I swear I will never do this again.” Despite this plea, the elderly man stood firm, sparking a flurry of reactions on social media.
