Delhi’s crime rate continues to raise concerns as cases of robbery and violence emerge daily. A shocking armed robbery recently took place in the Lahori Gate police station area, where an Angadiya trader was targeted at gunpoint. The criminals looted approximately ₹80 lakh from the businessman before fleeing the scene.
CCTV Captures the Heist
The daring incident unfolded at Haveli Haider Kuli in Chandni Chowk. CCTV footage, now viral on social media, shows the businessman walking with a bag when an armed miscreant approaches him. Within moments, the robber pulls out a pistol, threatens the victim, and forcibly snatches the bag. Despite the businessman’s desperate plea, the criminals quickly escape. Reports suggest that three to four masked individuals were involved in the crime, while some were unmasked.

Police Investigating, No Arrests Yet
The robbery, which occurred between 6 and 7 PM, has prompted an intense police investigation. According to officials, a group of four to five criminals fired shots before fleeing towards the main Chandni Chowk road. Multiple police teams from North District are analyzing CCTV footage and questioning the victim to track down the culprits.
Authorities assure that the accused will be arrested soon, and efforts are underway to recover the stolen money.
