Couple’s Hilarious Wedding Vow Rap Battle Goes Viral | WATCH

While most couples go the traditional way of exchanging vows, Aaron and Rebel Sawyer, a musical duo, had other plans. At the altar, they put on a rap battle. And to the surprise of their guests, they were seen holding hands and exchanging vows in a rhythmic lyrical manner in a now viral video.

The video starts with the bride, wearing a white gown, in front of the groom wearing a white unbuttoned shirt and very loose pants. When the song begins to play, Rebel raps her vows, saying, “Aaron Sawyer, do you want something real?” She continues by pointing out their connection on a spiritual level with lines such as: “You elevate my vibe; I am down to give you everything. My service comes in full supply.”

Aaron takes the microphone and begins his vows, rapping, “Remember when I swore devotion, psilocybin our brains wide open,” referencing the psychedelic compound psilocybin. The bride and groom sway to the music, the groom rapping and dancing over the bride, while some guests at the wedding watch silently with mask-like faces.

Take a look at the viral video:

Sharing the moment on Facebook, Rebel wrote that the performance was, “When you are soulmates and collaborators, even your wedding vows turn into a lyrical masterpiece. This is part two of the love we spit on our big day.”

The officiant couldn’t help but lighten the mood saying, “Wow. Weddings will never be the same,” before the couple went on with the ceremony. The guests applauded in appreciation of the performance.

However, reactions on social media were mixed after the video was shared on X by a user who found it on TikTok. It managed to get over 700,000 views, with most users expressing secondhand embarrassment. One user commented, “Not gonna lie, I got secondhand embarrassment.” Another wrote, “My lungs hurt. I am laughing so hard. This is so cringe.” A third user remarked, “Watched this on mute cause I already know what it’s going to sound like. Comments confirm I made the right choice.”

Regardless of what people have to say, Aaron and Rebel’s weird promises are certainly memorable.
