Braelyn had asked ChatGPT, in a screengrab of their conversation, to “Make an image representing what I know about me.” The AI-generated picture from AI turned out to be that of an Indian-looking person and nothing she could identify with. She was horrified by the outcome and put the screengrab on Twitter with the caption, “What am I doing wrong with my life?”

Her post shortly went viral, gaining over 250k views and precipitating a tsunami of funny comments. Social media users were both amused and perplexed at the AI’s strange reply. Braelyn herself captured the peculiar details, saying, “Indian man with beard and glasses.”
A user playfully hypothesized, “Perhaps you’re secretly an Indian man in another timeline!” Another joked, “AI is attempting to tell you something…time to look into ancestry.”
