Can You Solve This Viral Math Problem? 3*3-3/3+3 Has Everyone Stumped!

In the digital age, internet users engage in a variety of activities to pass their leisure time. While some enjoy watching videos and reels, others prefer tackling brain teasers and math problem to keep their minds sharp. A recent viral post on social media has caught the attention of many, presenting a deceptively simple yet tricky math problem.

The problem, shared by Deepak Thakur, has sparked widespread debate and confusion among netizens. The challenge is straightforward at first glance but requires a solid grasp of basic math rules to solve. Here’s the problem that has been causing a buzz: 3*3-3/3+3.

At first glance, it appears simple, but the arrangement of numbers tends to mislead people. Interestingly, such problems are typically taught in the 5th grade, but as we grow older, we often forget the basic formulas and tricks. This has led to various answers from those trying to solve it, with some suggesting the answer is 3 and others claiming it’s 5. However, both answers are incorrect.

To solve this problem correctly, one needs to apply the BODMAS rule (Brackets, Orders, Division and Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction). Let’s break it down step by step:

  1. Division: First, divide 3 by 3, which equals 1.
  2. Multiplication: Next, multiply 3 by 3, giving 9.
  3. Subtraction and Addition: Now the equation is simplified to 9 – 1 + 3. According to the order of operations, we perform the subtraction first, resulting in 8. Finally, we add 3 to get 11.

Thus, the correct answer to the problem 3*3-3/3+3 is 11. This intriguing math challenge has not only tested people’s knowledge but also reignited interest in basic arithmetic among many, proving that sometimes the simplest questions can be the most perplexing
