British YouTuber’s Racist Rant Includes Disturbing Joke About Nuking India: ‘Just for the Fun of It’

British YouTuber Miles Routledge has faced backlash for a series of deeply racist posts on the social media platform X. Routledge, known for being the British student stranded in Afghanistan during the Taliban takeover of 2021, made troubling remarks about India, including a joke about launching nuclear weapons.

On Tuesday, Routledge shared a screenshot of an anonymous user on X who appeared to threaten him. Despite having no evidence linking the user to India, Routledge accused the individual of being Indian. He posted: “Indian threatens to find me, it backfires lmao,” along with a screenshot showing the message: “I will find you I promise, your apology video will be sweet.”

In response, Routledge not only shared his address but also mocked Indian speech patterns with: “Saar okay lord saar good luck saar haha saar.”

Routledge’s racist posts continued with a disturbing joke about nuclear weapons. In a tweet, he stated: “When I become prime minister of England, I’ll open the nuclear silos as an explicit warning to any foreign power that interferes with British interests and affairs. I’m not talking huge incidents, I’m itching to launch and atomize entire nations over the smallest infraction.” He further added, “Hell, I might just launch at India just for the sake of it!”

When challenged by an Indian X user accusing him of rage-baiting, Routledge responded by expressing his dislike for India and providing a dubious explanation for why he thought the threatening troll was Indian. He claimed, “Believe it or not, I just don’t like India. Also I can sense an Indian, he is Indian. If a man online suddenly talks about ducking your mother in the first response, he’s Indian. Many such cases.”
