In a shocking incident from Haryana’s Faridabad, a man named Gulshan was allegedly brutally assaulted by his girlfriend’s family after he refused to marry her. The attack has left him with 13 fractures, and he has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital for the past 17 days.
The incident took place on March 29, when Gulshan was called to the woman’s house under the pretext of returning ₹21.5 lakh that he had reportedly given her. However, things turned violent when he refused her demand for marriage. He claimed the woman and her family members began thrashing him, leaving both his arms and legs in plaster.

Gulshan told police, “I had gone to get my money back. But I was beaten so badly, I had to flee to save my life.”
Their relationship began in 2019 when the woman, a frequent visitor to his mobile shop, started developing a bond with him. However, neither of them is legally divorced from their respective spouses. Gulshan lives separately from his wife, while the woman is in the midst of divorce proceedings.
According to a report by Navbharat Times, the woman is the mother of a 10-year-old daughter, while Gulshan has three children.
Faridabad Police have registered a case against five accused based on Gulshan’s complaint. Investigations are underway, and legal action is expected against those involved in the assault.
