A disturbing road incident unfolded on May 23 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium signal in Bengaluru, where a BMTC bus driver allegedly tried to run over a woman after an argument.
The woman had reportedly stopped the bus amid a dispute, but instead of de-escalating, the driver recklessly moved the vehicle forward while she stood in front of it. The moment was captured by a nearby vehicle’s dashcam, and the video has since gone viral on social media.
According to the footage, the BMTC bus was traveling from Museum Road to MG Road when the altercation occurred. The woman sustained minor injuries in the incident. Despite taking place more than a week ago, the video gained public attention only after being widely circulated online.

Woman Slaps Auto Driver With Slipper Over Alleged Harassment
In a separate but equally controversial incident, another video surfaced showing a woman repeatedly hitting an auto-rickshaw driver with her slippers. The confrontation occurred after she allegedly accused the driver of running over her foot and recording her without consent.
In the clip, the woman is seen confronting the driver, shouting, “Why are you recording me? Who gave you permission?” The driver calmly replies, “From whom do I need to take permission?” which escalated the argument.
Moments later, the woman removes her footwear and strikes the driver multiple times, daring him to continue recording. She is also seen making a phone call, stating, “He ran over my foot, abused me, and now he’s recording me.”
The driver, speaking in Kannada to a bystander, seemed to be explaining his side of the story. He later filed a police complaint, and Bellandur Police have registered a case against the woman.
