Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan Hints at Security Concerns After Baba Siddique’s Death

The upcoming ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode on ‘Bigg Boss 18’ promises intense moments as Salman Khan confronts contestants over their controversial remarks. Despite the current threats to his life, Salman continued to film the episode, showcasing his professionalism and dedication.

In a recent promo, Salman interacted with Shilpa Shirodkar regarding the ration issue. He said, “I hate tears, Shilpa. Aapki bacchi jab khane par gussa utarti thi toh aap kya bolte the?” (When your daughter expressed her anger towards food, what would you tell her?) Shilpa responded, stating, “Khane pe gussa nahi tha; I was angry over the attitude.” Salman advised, “You should then remove your anger on the attitude. You shouldn’t have any relation with the feelings then.” Shilpa broke down in tears upon hearing this. Salman then expressed, “My today’s feelings are mujhe yahan pe aana hi nahi tha. Ek aadmi ko jo karna padta hai woh karna padta hai,” hinting at the recent demise of Baba Siddique and the ongoing security threats he faces.

Salman Khan began filming for ‘Bigg Boss 18’ with increased security due to threats linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. On Thursday night, he returned to the set with a substantial security team for his safety. This heightened protection was prompted by a threatening message allegedly sent by a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to Mumbai Traffic Police. The message demanded a ransom of Rs 5 crore from Salman Khan, warning of severe consequences if unpaid. It referenced the assassination of former Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddique, which took place the day after Salman recorded an episode of ‘Bigg Boss’. Consequently, authorities upgraded Khan’s security to Y-plus, ensuring an armed police escort at all times.

Despite these threats, the production of ‘Bigg Boss 18’ continues, with two ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episodes scheduled to air this weekend. Producers are coordinating closely with Salman’s security team to guarantee all necessary precautions are in place.
