As tensions escalate between India and Pakistan, the long-standing independence movement in Balochistan has gained fresh momentum. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a prominent separatist group, has reportedly launched a renewed offensive against the Pakistani military, with claims of capturing key army posts in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.
According to several reports, the BLA has not only forced Pakistani troops to retreat from various locations but has also sabotaged critical infrastructure, including a gas pipeline. The ongoing clashes suggest a dual crisis for Pakistan—external pressure from India and internal rebellion from Balochistan.
Amid the unrest, Balochi leader Mir Yar Baloch voiced strong criticism of Pakistan’s actions through his social media platform ‘Exp’. Reacting to the recent Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, he stated: “Pakistani will not dare to kill any Hindu by reciting Kalma.”

Our fight is for the restoration of genuine peace where no Pakistani will dare to ask a Hindu for reciting Kalma and murder him in front of his wife and children.
Our noble fight is to make this region free of cancerous and terrorist epicenter Pakistan.

‘We Are Fighting for Peace and Humanity’
Addressing a public gathering, Mir Yar Baloch further condemned the violence and made an emotional appeal for international support. “Our fight is for the restoration of real peace, where no Pakistani will ask a Hindu to recite Kalma nor will dare to kill him in front of his wife and children.”
Calling on global communities and individuals for support, he urged: “Join with dignity by giving whatever you have—moral, diplomatic, political, financial—because we are fighting for you and humanity.”
He concluded with a powerful statement about the movement’s broader mission: “Our great fight is to free this region from Pakistan, the center of terrorism.”
The demand for Balochistan’s independence has been a long-standing issue, but with recent Indo-Pak tensions flaring, the conflict has taken a more pronounced turn, intensifying pressure on Islamabad from both internal and external fronts.
