With thousands of likes, shares, and comments, the video’s caption clarified, “This is not AI or a green screen, but ballerina @victoriadauberville dancing on the bulb of a cruise ship in Antarctica. She and her partner, photographer, and dancer @forgetmat, shared the behind-the-scenes details of this extraordinary video.”

Internet Reacts: AI or Reality?

While many complimented Victoria with her incredible talent and perseverance, some were skeptical, asking themselves if the clip was even authentic. An Instagram user wrote: “Are we sure this isn’t AI-generated?” while another just wrote, “This looks unreal!

On the other hand, Victoria and Matheu gave a confirmation regarding the authenticity of the performance where they shared details on how they filmed the fantastic moment.

Also, Victoria Dauberville noted that immediately after the recording was completed, she would put on some warm clothes while being helped to get back aboard the ship, as it had become extremely cold.

Victoria Dauberville cannot say she has not danced in remarkable places. She has performed before the Eiffel Tower in Paris and front of several other notable landmarks. This recent show in Antarctica is making plenty of fans speechless, setting an example that perhaps art does not know how to respect boundaries, especially when there is ice to be melted.
