Apple Loyal Customer: Man Wait Outside Store For 21 Hours To Buy iPhone 16, Watch

The much-anticipated wait is finally over as the Apple iPhone 16 series has officially launched in India, drawing enthusiastic Apple fans to the streets and stores across the country. In a display of dedication, one fan from Ahmedabad stood in line for 21 hours to be the first to enter the Apple Store in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).

Devoted Apple Fans Queue Up for the Launch

Ujjwal Shah, a passionate Apple enthusiast, traveled from Ahmedabad to Mumbai to be among the first to own the new iPhone 16. “I am super excited. I have been here for 21 hours. I am the first in the queue to enter the store. There are so many new features in the iPhone 16 series,” Shah shared in an interview with PTI in Mumbai.

Another eager customer, Vivek from Bengaluru, reached the Apple BKC store at 4 a.m. to secure his spot in line, demonstrating the nationwide excitement for the new release.

iPhone 16 Series: Pricing and Features

The iPhone 16 series consists of four models: the iPhone 16 (base model), iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The iPhone 16 Pro, available in stunning colors like Dark Black Titanium, Bright White Titanium, Natural Titanium, and the new Desert Titanium, offers enhanced battery life thanks to improved power management and larger batteries. This model features a 48MP fusion camera with a second-generation quad-pixel sensor, zero shutter lag, and an ultra-wide 48MP camera, along with a 5x telephoto lens with a 120mm focal length for breathtaking photography. New camera control options and photographic styles allow users to personalize colors and shadows in real-time, ensuring every shot is unique.

In terms of pricing in India, the iPhone 16 starts at ₹79,900, while the iPhone 16 Plus is priced at ₹89,900. The iPhone 16 Pro starts at ₹1,19,900, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be available for ₹1,44,900.

Trade-In Program Offers Discounts

Apple is also offering a Trade-In program, allowing customers to exchange their old devices for discounts ranging from ₹4,000 to ₹67,500, depending on the condition and model of the device being traded in.
