In a technological brilliance and holiday spirit, US-based drone company Sky Elements has been seen on social media with one of the largest drone light shows ever held. The breathtaking performance took place in Mansfield, Texas, where 5,000 unmanned aerial vehicles flew over a field ahead of Christmas, setting a new Guinness World Record. This was an impressive feat after the company’s previous record-breaking show a week earlier, which used 2,500 drones.
This show was made possible by a collaboration between Sky Elements and UVify, the drone technology company. The finale featured a giant, glowing Santa Claus in his sleigh, pulled by two massive reindeer. As the evening sky darkened, the drones took flight, forming intricate LED light displays. The crowd cheered as Santa waved from his sleigh filled with presents.
It is said that the viral video of the show has gained over 98 million views and 5.5 million likes on Instagram. People took the platform by storm with excitement. “This is absolutely incredible! Technology and Christmas magic coming together in such an amazing way.” The precision of the drones is just mind-blowing! It’s like watching the future unfold before your eyes. Some people were really excited by the eco-friendly feature: “This is a far greener alternative to traditional light shows and fireworks – love it!”
