In a recent interview, Vijay Deverakonda opened up about his unconventional approach to awards and recognition. He revealed that he had decided to auction off his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor, choosing instead to donate the proceeds to a charitable cause. For him, this act held greater significance than simply displaying a trophy at home.

He further shared that he had also gifted another award to filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, emphasizing his perspective on the value of accolades. Deverakonda’s candid remarks reflect a refreshing attitude towards fame and success, highlighting his prioritization of meaningful actions over mere symbols of achievement.

Amidst his busy schedule promoting his upcoming film ‘Family Star’, which features Mrunal Thakur as the female lead, he expressed his personal aspirations, including a desire for a love marriage and the prospect of fatherhood.

Interestingly, Deverakonda’s statements come amidst swirling rumors about his relationship status, particularly regarding his rumored live-in relationship with actress Rashmika Mandanna.

However, he made it clear that any decision about marriage would ultimately be guided by his parents’ approval, underscoring the importance of familial harmony in his life choices.
