The 10th Vibrant Gujarat Summit in the state has set a new record with a remarkable MoU achievement. A total of 41,299 MoUs, amounting to 26.33 lakh crores, have been signed, marking Gujarat’s achievement of surpassing 45 lakh crores in MoUs across 98,540 projects.


Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 has created a new record. It is said that in the year 2022 Vibrant Summit was postponed due to Corona epidemic, and MoUs worth 18.87 lakh crore rupees were signed in 57, 241 projects.
Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit was organized from 10 to 12 January 2024 at Gandhinagar. It was organized on the theme of Gateway to the Future. Presidents of the country and abroad, businessmen reached the vibrant summit at Gujarat. Today was the last day of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. The closing ceremony of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit was held in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The closing ceremony of the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit was held on Friday at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. Addressing the closing ceremony of this three-day summit organized in the presence of many heads of country and abroad, ambassadors and industrialists, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said that India’s first Amrit Kaal and Gujarat’s tenth Vibrant Gujarat Global The summit has concluded today. In this summit, there has been a wonderful empowerment of the ‘path from resolution to accomplishment’. He said, “The first summit was organized in the year 2003, in today, there has been a qualitative change. In a sense, this is the beginning of an era of change. Today, India and Gujarat in India have become the first choice for manufacturing and investment in the world.”
Shah further said, “When Prime Minister Narendra Modi took over the governance of the country, India was ranked 11th in the economy and today it is ranked fifth in the world. India will certainly become the third-largest economy in the world in the coming times. The G-20 conference was held under the chairmanship of India, in which the mantra was ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’. India is emerging as a world friend with the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. It is a matter of pride for all of us.
Referring to the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on Friday, January 12, he said that by realizing the power and determination of Swami Vivekananda, India is emerging confidently in the world today with many new dimensions.
Describing the summit held in Gujarat under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel as successful, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said that due to this summit, Gujarat has become a gateway for “Developed India @2047”. The participation of heads of 4 countries, representatives of 100 countries and 16 country partners in the summit is a success story in itself.
The idea of Gift City put forward by Narendra Modi in the year 2007 has become a banyan tree today. Similarly, when Dholera SIR was launched, critics criticised it; But its results are in front of all of you today. Mandal-Becharaji has emerged as an auto hub today, while investment opportunities in Gujarat have increased due to the construction of Petrochemical Park in Dahej, Bulk Drug Park in Bharuch and Biotechnology Park in Vadodara.
Shah further said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done structural reforms. Due to this reform, performance has increased and due to this, transformation is taking place in the economy. The state, which was considered a dark spot on the world map, is today being recognized as a vibrant spot. As a result of corruption-free governance, a peaceful environment and transparent governance, today Gujarat has become an investor choice for the entire world.”
He said that in the coming times, health and education; Policies have been made to make India progress in both areas. Due to this, India has become capable of becoming the education hub of the world. Similarly, we are also moving forward in the field of electric vehicles and green road strategy. We are also taking forward the Green Hydrogen Mission. There was once an investment of $9 billion in the space sector, which has been targeted to reach $40 billion by 2040.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the tenth edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said with pride that this first summit of the Amrit period was successfully concluded and was a platform for inclusive growth and sustainable development for the business community, thought leaders and policymakers of the country and the world.
He said that under the visionary guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the continuous success of this summit over the last two decades has led to an increase in both its speed and scale. Not only this, countries across the world have participated in this summit to realize the idea of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – One Earth, One Family, One Future. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the 10th edition of the Vibrant Summit will realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Developed India @2047’ by becoming a golden gateway to ensure the future of a prosperous India.
In this context, he said that this summit organized with the theme of Gateway to the Future has become a catalyst for new-era emerging sectors like semiconductor, renewable energy, green hydrogen, electric vehicle (EV), aerospace and defence equipment manufacturing. He said that Gujarat has implemented the idea of green growth given by the Prime Minister by signing 50 per cent of the total MoUs in this summit in the field of green hydrogen and renewable energy.
He said that in this 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit organized under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Gujarat has adopted the innovative approach of ‘Vibrant Gujarat-Vibrant District’ and provided a platform to the MSMEs of 32 districts to grow with the mantra of ‘Vocal for Local’. Have done. He said that MSMEs, the backbone of the industrial development of the state, have gained new strength with the success of each Vibrant Summit.
Describing the 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit as a new chapter of development, Union Minister for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala expressed his best wishes that Gujarat crosses all the limits of its development and becomes the best state.
Union Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Minister Parshottam Rupala described the representation of Jammu and Kashmir in the summit as a big success and said that this vibrant summit is the best effort to open the door to the golden future of the state.
He said that the industrialists and representatives of the country and the world who participated in the Vibrant Summit of Gujarat have expressed their confidence in the peace-security of Gujarat and the business-friendly approach of the state government, and that is why the state of Gujarat has become a favourite destination for investors.
Rupala further said that this reputation of Gujarat has been created due to the foresight, inspiring leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On this occasion, he mentioned the immense potential for development in the fisheries sector on the vast coastline of Gujarat and invited industrialists to come forward to invest in this sector.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha said that Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is a strong platform for investors and industry.
