Union Minister of State for Railways, Ravneet Singh, has announced that the much-anticipated railway connectivity between Katra and Kashmir is on track for completion. Testing on the Katra-Kashmir railway link is expected to wrap up by December, paving the way for Kashmir to be connected to the rest of the country via rail in January.
During his visit to the Anji cable-stayed bridge today, Singh conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing work on the ambitious project. The Anji bridge, a critical link in the railway network, stands as a testament to engineering marvels in the region.
This development marks a significant milestone in bringing the iconic Vande Bharat Express closer to Kashmir, a move poised to transform the region’s connectivity and economic prospects.
