In a meeting chaired by Rajeev Verma, Advisor to the Administrator of UT Chandigarh, a comprehensive review of the recruitment rules for various positions in the Chandigarh administration departments took place. During the meeting, directives were issued to expedite the creation or revival of posts and the formulation of corresponding recruitment rules. Emphasizing the urgency of the matter, the Advisor highlighted the importance of promptly framing rules, considering that several departments currently rely on contractual employees due to the absence of finalized rules. Departments were specifically instructed to engage with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) if required, seeking their guidance in the rule-making process.

The Advisor underscored the significance of a timely completion of both the rule formulation and the creation or revival of posts. The meeting witnessed the presence of key officials, including Nitin Kumar Yadav, Home Secretary, Ajay Chagti, Secretary Personnel, Vinay Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Purva Garg, Education Secretary, Agriculture Secretary Hari Calicut, and other heads of departments.
